The challenge

The Fruitful growth team came to Zage with a major challenge: Onboarding emails were the biggest drop-off point, especially when customers were asked to connect sensitive banking information.

Our audit uncovered:

  • A bare-bones, three-email journey that skipped key trust-building moments

  • Transactional, generic messaging that didn’t reinforce Fruitful’s value

  • Subject lines with little personalization or brand voice

  • Missing preheaders, leaving preview text to default and weaken opens
